Dislab vs OptiSigns
OptiSigns has a big feature list and a free plan for up to three screens. Here is how it compares with Dislab on price, menus and running it day to day, including where OptiSigns fits better.
Dislab Pro

US$10a screen a month; $9 a month billed yearly.The short answer
- Dislab is US$6.99 a screen a month (A$9.99 with GST in Australia). OptiSigns Standard is US$10 (AU$14 on its site).
- Dislab includes video walls and a menu builder in its one plan. OptiSigns charges $25 a month for its video wall add-on, on its own player, and builds menus from templates, or from till or spreadsheet data on its Pro Plus plan (US$15 a screen).
- Things Dislab includes in its one plan sit on OptiSigns’ higher plans: proof of play on Pro (US$12.50 a screen), live data and till connections on Pro Plus (US$15), and its API on Enterprise (US$45, at least 25 screens).
- OptiSigns’ free plan covers 3 screens (with its logo, on its own, Windows, Mac, Linux or Raspberry Pi players, not Fire TV). Dislab’s covers one, with playlists and signs, on a Fire TV stick. Dislab gives unlimited logins on every plan; OptiSigns Standard gives 25.

Where OptiSigns may suit you better
No product is right for everyone. OptiSigns is likely the better choice if:
- You want up to three screens free and don’t mind their logo or using their players.
- Your screens are Windows or Mac computers, Roku, Apple TV, BrightSign players, or LG or Samsung TVs’ own apps.
- You need touch-screen kiosks, single sign-on, or an approval step before anything goes on screen.
- You want a player box from the same company as the software.
Moving to Dislab
- Sign up and upload your photos and videos. Dislab converts every one for TV playback.
- Plug a Fire TV stick into the TV, open Dislab, and type the code it shows into your console.
- Keep OptiSigns running on your other screens until you’re happy, then move them one by one.
Prices and features for OptiSigns were read from OptiSigns’s own pricing page and help pages on 12 October 2026: the cheapest plan that runs a business screen, and the plan named where a feature needs a higher one.
