Dislab vs ScreenCloud
ScreenCloud is a polished platform with its own menu board app on every plan. Dislab does the same job, with more in its menu builder, for under a third of the price. Here is the detail, including where ScreenCloud fits better.
Dislab Pro
US$6.99a screen a month, everything included. US$5.75 a month billed yearly.ScreenCloud Core
US$24a screen a month; $20 a month billed yearly, with a free player. The short answer
- Dislab is US$6.99 a screen a month (A$9.99 with GST in Australia). ScreenCloud Core is US$24, or $20 billed yearly.
- Both have a menu builder. Dislab’s switches breakfast to lunch by itself, puts sold-out items back by itself, runs timed markdowns and takes prices from your till. Both can show a long menu as pages.
- ScreenCloud has no free plan (a 14-day trial), runs on more kinds of device and keeps unlimited storage. Dislab has a free screen and unlimited logins on every plan.

Where ScreenCloud may suit you better
No product is right for everyone. ScreenCloud is likely the better choice if:
- Your screens are Samsung or LG smart TVs, Windows or Mac computers, Chromebooks or BrightSign players.
- You need audit logs and custom permissions for a larger team.
- You want unlimited storage, or a player box from the same company.
Moving to Dislab
- Sign up and upload your photos and videos. Dislab converts every one for TV playback.
- Plug a Fire TV stick into the TV, open Dislab, and type the code it shows into your console.
- Keep ScreenCloud running on your other screens until you’re happy, then move them one by one.
