Dislab Player. Plug it in, and it plays.
A small player for the back of any TV, set up for Dislab before it reaches you. No Amazon or Google account, no app to find, no settings to change. Plug in power and HDMI, type the code it shows into your console, and your screen is playing.
Price and release date to come. Until then, Dislab runs on Fire TV sticks, the Amazon Signage Stick, Android TV and Google TV sticks, and any computer or iPad with Chrome, Edge or Safari.
A player that only does one thing.
An ordinary TV stick is made for watching shows, and a sign has to fight it every day. The Dislab Player has nothing else on it.
- Starts straight into Dislab when the TV turns on, never the stick’s home screen.
- Locked to Dislab: a remote left on the counter can’t wander off into other apps.
- Never sleeps and never shows a screensaver.
- Turns the TV off and on from your console, or by your opening hours (through HDMI-CEC, which most TVs have).
- Restart Dislab or the whole player from your console, wherever you are.
- Downloads everything first and keeps playing when the internet drops.
Why our own player
Out of the box and onto the wall
Setting up a TV stick means an Amazon or Google account, finding the app, and switching a few settings so it opens by itself and stays awake. The Dislab Player arrives done: power, HDMI, code, playing.
Not tied to Amazon’s next stick
Amazon’s newest Fire TV sticks run Vega OS and can’t run Dislab, and their names repeat older models. The Dislab Player is one model we’ve chosen and tested, so you know it works.

How much will it cost?
We’ll announce the price with the release. Your Dislab plan stays the same whatever you play it on.
Do I need one?
No. Dislab already runs on Fire TV sticks, the Amazon Signage Stick and Android TV or Google TV sticks, and on any computer or iPad with Chrome, Edge or Safari at play.dislab.app. The Player is for anyone who wants one that’s ready to go.
Can I stop using it for Dislab later?
Yes. From your console you can release it, and it becomes an ordinary Android TV stick.
