Can the candy bar mark something sold out?

Yes. Make the candy bar a menu and staff mark items sold out from their phone; the board shows it in seconds.

Can a screen count down to the end of interval?

Yes. A countdown in hours, minutes and seconds ends with your own words, like “Please take your seats”.
