Neon signs that buzz on by themselves.
Glowing script words, tube frames and icons that switch on like a real neon sign, catch, drop out, then light up for good, and flicker now and then. On any TV, with no glass, no wiring and no electrician. Change the words whenever you like.
Neon words, frames and icons are on every plan, the free one included. Neon split-flap boards and menu boards come with Pro.
Ten neon signs, ready to switch on.
Pick one in Signs, type your own words, and change any colour. Each buzzes on as it comes up on the screen, and the main words flicker every so often, just enough to catch an eye.
In portrait too
Every neon sign has its own design for a TV hung on its side.
Neon is a switch, not a template.
Every neon sign is made of ordinary layers, so you can light your own. Pale letters inside a bright halo read as a lit glass tube; a thin outline on a dark background reads as a bent one.
- Words: Glow, then Neon tube, in any font and colour
- Boxes, circles, lines and arrows: Neon glow
- Over 5,000 icons, from cocktails to coffee cups: Neon glow
- Motion: Buzz on, Flicker, and Switch off as the next sign comes up
- Neon in the sign motion choices sets the whole sign in one tap
An airport board, lit up.
Give a split-flap board the Neon look and every letter glows in its own colour, flips through the drum, then buzzes on as it lands. Colour words in a row, show the time and date, or a happy hour that changes with a tap.
- Letters in any colour, and colour words within a row
- Live values: the time, the date, the weather, a countdown
- The click-clack sound if you want it, off until you turn it on
Neon menus, prices that glow.
Switch on Neon glow on any menu and its headings and prices light up in their own colours. Prices, sold out and day-parts work just as they always do. More on menu boards.
And in signs you already know.
Templates that were after a neon look now have the real thing: tubes that buzz on and flicker.
Questions
Anything else? Ask us.
Does it run smoothly on a cheap TV stick?
Yes. The glow is drawn once when the sign comes up; after that only the brightness changes as it buzzes on or flickers, which a TV stick’s graphics chip does on its own. A split-flap board draws each glowing letter once and reuses it.
Which plan is it on?
Neon words, frames, icons and the buzz and flicker are on every plan, the free one included. Neon split-flap boards and menu boards are part of Pro, like all boards and menus.
Can I change the words and colours?
Everything. Type your own words, pick any colour for the tube and the glow follows it, choose another font, or move and resize anything.
Does it keep working without internet?
Yes. The sign and its fonts are saved on each screen, so it keeps glowing and flickering with no connection.
Will it look like real neon?
On a dark background, from across a room, very like it: a pale core, a tight glow and a wide soft halo. It’s a TV, so it lights the room like a screen rather than a glass tube, and it costs nothing to change.
