Styles / Cinema poster case

Now showing, in lights.

Your photo or poster behind glass in a gilt case, ringed with bulbs that chase, blink and sparkle. The picture palace lobby, on any TV.

Poster cases come with Pro.

Bulb patterns

Every bulb, a real filament.

Each bulb warms up and fades like the real thing, with its own slight tint and a glow on the wall around it. Pick a pattern, or let it run through them all.

Lit bulbs travel round the case.

A few bright runners race round.

Every other bulb, swapping.

The ring lights up bulb by bulb, then empties.

Bulbs twinkle at random, like a premiere.

Ready-made

Eight poster cases, ready to light.

Pick one in Signs, drop in your own photo or type a title, and choose the metal and the bulbs. Each has its own design for a TV on its side.

Why it looks real

A lobby case, drawn in light.

These aren’t photos of old signs with your words pasted on. Every one is drawn from scratch by Dislab, the way the real thing worked: glass, metal, light and moving parts, rendered live on your screen. Every screen showing one moves in step with the others, and it keeps going even when the internet drops.

Real filaments

Every bulb warms up and cools down, with a slightly different tint and brightness, and lights the wall around the case.

Glass you can see

A soft glare across the front and a faint reflection of the bulbs over your poster.

Brass, gold, nickel or bronze

A deep case with mitred mouldings and a raised Now showing or Coming soon plate.

Your poster, or ours

Use your own photo, cropped to fill, or let Dislab set a classic poster from your words.

Questions

Anything else? Ask us.

Does it run smoothly on a cheap TV stick?

Yes. The case or cabinet is drawn once when the sign comes up; after that only the moving parts change. Tested at six times slower than a normal computer with no dropped frames.

Which plan is it on?

Pro, like the other boards. Try every Pro feature free for 14 days.

Does it keep working without internet?

Yes. The sign and your photo are saved on each screen, so the lights keep running with no connection.

Can I use my own poster?

Yes. Choose any photo from your Media, or type a title and a few lines and Dislab sets them as a classic poster.
