Page 100, now on your screen.
Blocky letters, eight bold colours and the page counter flicking through numbers before your page lands. Footy scores and specials, the teletext way.
Drawn live by Dislab, dot for dot, and tested on real TV sticks. Not a video loop.
Teletext pages come with Pro.
Eight colours, block by block.
The real teletext letters and chunky block pictures, a header with your name and a clock that ticks every second, and pages that turn by themselves.
Ten teletext pages, ready to go.
Pick one in Signs and type your own rows: colours, double height, block pictures and live values. Each has its own design for a TV on its side.
Made for a screen on its side
On a TV hung on its side, two pages stack into one tall page, or a short page goes double height.

On a wide screen too
On a TV hung the normal way the page keeps the shape of an old set, centred on the screen.

A teletext set, dot for dot.
These aren’t photos of old signs with your words pasted on, and they aren’t video loops. Every page is drawn from scratch by Dislab, live on your screen, the way the real thing worked. Every screen showing it moves in step with the others, and it keeps going even when the internet drops.
The letters and chunky block graphics of a teletext set, drawn dot for dot, with the rounded edges the real chip gave them.
The header flicks through page numbers before your page lands, then the page fills in a row at a time.
Words flash at the speed a set flashed them, and double-height rows take the row below, as they did on screen.
Optional scan lines and a soft glow, for the full 1980s set.
Every page was played back frame by frame, twice round every template in both shapes, and run on real TV sticks. Only the parts that change are drawn again, so even a cheap stick keeps up.
Questions
Anything else? Ask us.
Does it run smoothly on a cheap TV stick?
Yes. The page only draws the letters that change, when they change, so a stick has very little to do. It was tested on real Fire TV and Google TV sticks.
Can I type my own pages?
Yes. Type each row, pick colours from where the cursor is, make a row double height or a ticker, and add block pictures: Dislab’s, big words, or any of the pixel board’s sprites.
Which plan is it on?
Pro, like the other boards. Try every Pro feature free for 14 days.
Does it keep working without internet?
Yes. The pages are saved on each screen, and the clock, page turns and flashing all run from the screen’s own clock.
Other looks only Dislab has.
