Three real designs, not three colours of one.

Every design you pay for comes as three different directions, made from your brief, your photos and your brand. Here is one brief from our demo cafe, Juniper Lane: “Ramen nights, Thursday to Saturday from 5pm. Tonkotsu $19, Shoyu $18, Miso $18.”

Your first screens, set up for you.

New to Dislab? Send us your logo and your menu, and we set the lot up: one package, each part approved on its own, so if you love everything but the menu, the rest is yours and we redo only the menu.

  • Your logo cleaned up, in a light and a dark version
  • A brand kit: your colours and fonts
  • Your menu read into Dislab, every price and size checked, so sold out and price changes stay live
  • Up to 3 menu boards and 3 specials boards, the specials saved as your own templates
  • A playlist for each screen, breakfast and lunch at the right times

Fresh screens every month, without opening the designer.

Send us what needs changing: new prices, this week’s special, a sign for a game night. Each request is one design with two rounds of changes, back within 48 hours. Unused requests don’t carry over, and you can cancel any time. A launch price stays for as long as you stay subscribed.

Custom animations

A story made for your shop.

For a phone repair shop: someone drops their phone, cries under a little rain cloud, walks in, and walks out with it fixed. We draw it in dots for a pixel board, 15 to 30 seconds, and it plays on every screen in step, offline too. Three storyboards to choose from, then the chosen one animated.

How it works

Order, choose, approve. That’s it.

Everything happens in your Dislab console, on the Design service page. Nobody at Dislab signs in to your account: what we make waits there for you, and nothing changes on your screens until you approve it.

  1. Order and pay

    Pick what you need, tell us what it’s for, attach your photos and logo, or pick one of your signs to redo.

  2. Three designs arrive

    Play each, or try one on your own screen for two minutes before you choose.

  3. Ask for changes

    Up to two rounds on the one you chose. Say everything at once and we do it in one go.

  4. Approve, and it’s yours

    It becomes your own sign, menu or template, to put on any screen and change whenever you like.

Who owns the design?

You do, once it’s paid for: the words, the layout and a custom animation are yours to use and change. Dislab keeps its own templates, sprites and ways of working.

Will you show my work on your website?

Only if you tick “Dislab may show this work on its website” when you order. It’s off unless you tick it.

What if I want more changes?

Every design comes with two rounds of changes (a custom animation: two on the storyboard and one on the finished piece). Past that, ask us on the request and we’ll sort it out with you.

Can I change it myself afterwards?

Yes. Once approved it’s an ordinary sign, menu or template in your account, so you can change the words, photos or anything else in the sign designer.

How long does it take?

First designs for one sign in 2 business days, menu boards in 3, a brand starter or the onboarding package in 5, and a custom animation in 10. Design care requests come back within 48 hours.

Do I need Pro?

Not for one sign, a brand starter or a custom animation: those work on the free plan too. Menu boards, the onboarding package and Design care need Pro, because menus are part of Pro.

Can you get into my account?

No. Our designers work in Dislab’s own studio and send what they make into your account, where it waits for you. They never sign in to it, and nothing goes on your screens until you approve it.
