Lunar New Year, Holi, Ramadan, both Eids, the Mid-Autumn Festival, Diwali and Hanukkah fall on different days each year. Dislab has their dates for years ahead, so a sign goes up at the right time.
The whole month of Ramadan, the week before Diwali, the two weeks before Black Friday, Boxing Day itself: each schedule is a sensible starting point you can change.
Each screen works out what’s on from its own time zone, so it changes at midnight where it hangs, and keeps doing it without internet.

Which plan are they on?
24 of the 40 holiday signs are on every plan, Free included. The other 16 have an effect (falling snow, sparkles, hearts, leaves or confetti) or a countdown, which come with Pro. Every drawing is on every plan.
Can I change the words and colours?
Yes. Every word, colour, font and drawing is yours to change in the sign designer, or put your brand kit on it with one tap.
Can a sign show only around its holiday?
Yes. In a playlist, open When it plays and pick from the Holidays or Seasons and sales schedules. The sign goes up and comes down by itself, every year, on that year’s dates.
What if Eid falls a day early or late?
Eid and Ramadan follow the sighting of the moon, so the real day can be a day either side of the date worked out ahead. The schedules start a few days before and run a day or two after, and you can move them if your community celebrates on another day.
Does it run smoothly on a cheap TV stick?
Yes. Each sign moves only a few parts at a time, and only their position and see-through change, which a TV stick draws easily. We played all 40 in a browser slowed to six times slower than a computer, and not one frame took longer than a thirtieth of a second.
