Use your Square menu
ProBring a Square menu into Dislab once; prices, items and sold out then stay up to date by themselves.
- On Menus (or in Settings under Square), press Connect Square and sign in with Square. Dislab only reads your items, stock, business name and locations; it never changes anything in Square. Only the owner can connect or disconnect it.
- Press Bring in a Square menu. Choose the Square location (its prices and sold out), then one of your Square menus (from Square’s menu builder) or Some of my categories.
- Choose how Square’s photos are used and whether to show add-ons, then press Bring it in. The menu is published straight away; put it on a sign with a Menu widget like any menu.
From then on a price, item or sold-out change in Square reaches your screens within a minute, published by itself. Names, prices, sizes, descriptions, add-ons and sold out come from Square, so change those there. Your day-parts, notes, dietary icons, chillies, dish numbers, tags, markdowns, your own photos and items you add in Dislab stay through every update. You can still switch a sold-out item back on in Dislab.
The Follows Square card on the menu's Settings tab says when it last synced and what couldn’t come across as it is: more than four sizes shows each item’s lowest price, items priced at the till show no price, and Square photos may still be on their way. Press Sync now if you can’t wait, or Stop following Square to keep the menu as an ordinary Dislab menu.
Disconnect Square in Settings and every menu stays as it is, no longer following Square. Square’s photos go into Media and count toward your storage. A menu follows one Square location: make one for each shop to show each shop’s prices.
